Each series is designed for individual use and for use in small interactive groups where participants can benefit from the insights and encouragement of others who share the same journey.

Each series is divided into ‘bite-sized’ Studies, each of which has two components:
(1)  Study material that averages 2-3 A4 pages per Study.
(2)  Application exercises designed to reinforce understanding and promote application of the material.

The material will be supplied electronically, as pdf files, in two alternate formats:

(1)  “Computer” format — designed to be read on-screen, on a PC, laptop, tablet computer or suitable smartphone. Application exercises are listed at the end of each Study and are also available as pre-formatted files to help you prepare responses to the Application exercises on computer.

(2)  “Print” format — designed to be printed. This format provides space in the material for responses to the Application exercises to be handwritten onto the printout.

Each series has been ‘road-tested’ by a range of individuals and interactive groups, including believers of widely varying natural and spiritual ages, believers with varying church affiliations and backgrounds, believers disconnected from traditional church life, and participants who were not believers at the start.

●  In a group setting, the material is provided, in advance, for individual study and application. Participants then come together to share their application of the pre-delivered material and for mutual inspiration and encouragement. This way, valuable group time can be devoted to application and interaction rather than the delivery of information.

●  The material has been structured so that it is possible for a group to meet without having to set aside, say, a night of the week for this purpose (although that can be a valuable way of doing this). For example, a group could meet for 30-60 minutes…before work, after work, during a lunch break, in a park while caring for children — whatever works for a group, especially if they have busy schedules.

●  Distributing study material electronically also makes it possible for a small group to interact at a distance, using email or interactive utilities such as Skype. From time to time, I facilitate email interaction for e-groups where participants would like to process one of these study series interactively with others…and I also embed myself in those groups as a full participant.

●  There is scope to adapt to occasional absences by participants and make it possible for them to catch up on their return.

Accessing the material

●  To ‘test’ the material, you can view, print or save samples of each of the four series under the [Samples] menu…or click this “Samples” button. Each sample includes a cover, Table of Contents and the first two Studies in the series. These samples are available in both presentation formats — “Computer” and “Print” — so that you can assess the suitability of both formats. You can also view a sample “Applications” file for each series.

Samples

●  After evaluating a sample, if you would like to request more of the material for that series, you can complete a Request Form available under the [Further material] menu item…or click this “Further material” button.
